We’re pleased to be able to say that our mission of making healthcare accessible extends beyond the tappON platform. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve partnered with two respected Australian organisations that are conducting the latest medical research – with even more partnerships to come.
We believe that business is a vehicle that can do good. Our impact partners are actively involved in improving the quality of lives of Australians through world leading research. Through tappON our members select the impact partner that aligns with their values and 1% of each booking is donated to their partner.
We’ve aligned ourselves with organisations that are helping us learn about two areas that affect many Australians: Mental Health and Spinal Cord Injury.
1 in 5 of us will experience symptoms of mental illness in any given year. In Australia that’s around 5 million people. And roughly 60% of these people won’t seek help.
Black Dog Institute are creating a mentally healthier world for everyone by turning ground-breaking mental health research into education programs, digital tools and apps, clinical services, and public resources to reduce the incidence of suicide and mental illness.
Black Dog Institute are the only medical research institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan, and our partnership is driving evidence-informed change in mental health where it’s needed most.
